We made dilutions of different kinds of sweeteners: corn syrup, molasses, sugar, honey, and water (Control). We added 9 ml of distilled water, then we added 1 ml of the sweeteners to every cup. After that, we added a few drops of the sweeteners on a refractometer. A refractometer measures Brix of glucose in liquids. We measured the sweeteners 5 times for each sweetener dilution. Then we added up the data for each of the concentrations. The corn syrup had a percentage of 15.100. The molasses had a percentage of 19.350. The sugar had a percentage of 21.325, and the honey had a percentage of 15.275.
